Moon Pies & Bittersweet Melody

Stoked, awake, Breezing my way towards the show.
Someone ran in lighter ablaze requesting,
"Sweet Home Alabama! No, Free Bird! C'mon Free Bird!"
This someone thinks he flies. He even plays roulette.
And I play a little roulette too when I fly.

"Gimme that cigar! I got something going ablaze soon enough."
"Enough... enough.... enough!" says Red.
"Make it happen - a moon pie throwing contest - me and You."
Too paranoid to laugh loud - the marshmallows shall cure me.
But I haven't laughed to tears in a long time.

Announcer: "Next artist calls herself Bittersweet Chocolate."
Eyeing her my head swivels as the upbeat mandolin clashes
With bluesy tones and words from her dark mouth say, "Hey -
Not our time or song. Reel in the jig! Nobody move!"
For me, this is unanticipated - better than marshmallows.

"Want a hit of that Mary Jane. Eh - you need a lift you say?"
"Enough... enough!" says Red. "Her time is in that Bittersweet
Melody, not your blazin' glory stick." Uh.... I will partake -
I'm a danger girl when I fly. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale.
In-and-out reminds me of the moon and tides, my moods and mind.

"Ok. We are all happy now. Everyone is ok. Except the
Blazing stick didn't get no Free Bird today. What do you
Think Red? Free Bird? Bittersweet Girl? Is it enough? Stoked?"
"Remember when we met? Marshmallow smears for fun?"
For the record Bittersweet Melody hands down. Moon pies tomorrow.

I remember when we met. "Yeah, me too."
I didn't play roulette back then. "Yeah, you need help".
Giving it up for marshmallow smears. Those black lips
Caught me off guard. Red, are you there?
"In Orbit. On mission."
