garden fairy

I am one that never cast aside
My silly dreams as a kid.

As I grow, as I learn,
I clutch, and

It is not an illusion.
I am garden fairy.
My wings I grew at eight,
But they came out of hiding

Yesterday, everyone
But I surprised, as I like it.
They mull and jerk and tear
At the pieces of paper they
Murk around in

Daily, while I am tending
To the flowers with my shiny
Dust, and I drop tears on little
Cobwebs and shape lilies at their
Cusp. I sing, I dance, I dote.

All of it, wishing only
My love would come join
Me, and alas! He has, at my hip.
A garden elf -

He had ears at eight,
But they came out of hiding
Today, everyone
But I surprised.

And tomorrow, together,
Forever, we sing, we dance
And we dote as garden
Fairy and garden elf.
