Karma Finally
Karma got me to stand up tall
I grazed on the upper limbs of the tree
Like a giraffe
Heat in the wind, dry rain
Poking inside my belly
I had guts inside for ripping
Apart
Like calendar days and
Missing time
Purple on top of red
My heart on fire amid
The wreckage of a
Broken mind
Tearing
Wrapping
Covering up everything in sight
Just to look at her
And his suffering
On top and underneath it all
Was a discovery
And it shed tears all over the rock
Planted there
And I swallowed
The tasteless sunrise
Coming over the mountaintop
Three times
Because three is a holy number
Father, Son, and Ghost
On purpose
She reached in the tea kettle
And pulled up to the clouds
Rain
In reverse order
So the weather stopped
And the places merged
And some of us
Ceased to exist
Finally.
