Twisted Moment in the Midst of It All
My tongue got twisted
I touched it to an ice cube
The tip of my tongue froze
So did time
This moment was ours.
My pelvic bone thrusted
For twenty minutes
Inside her and I wondered
If she would love me.
My heart sank
I grieved
I lost someone again
And I was alone
Except for my dog Midnight.
Then someone came
And my temper
Ceased
For a moment
I love her
But she doesn’t know
My way
I shave my head
In angst
And she kisses my the top of my head.
I put blood on the door
And He passed over us
Because we praise
His name
On Sunday
Shan’t be every day for us.
Charity and justice
Are ice cold
Traits of mine
She likes that
She wants me
She even said she needed me.
The bullets shot
Through her head
And did nothing
Because she was a god
Living forever
In the midst of it all.
I love him
He loves her.
I touched it to an ice cube
