Three Ladies Next Door Harkened

There was an irregular heart beat outside
It was new just made
And I teared up for my old friend
But something familiar brushed away
And it was my wife next door
Or just like her
But she was deceiving no one
Spectacular made in an exact image of my loved one
And I was friends with her
Yet I felt alone
Because everywhere I go
Are copies
And they put it to rest
But now the world is missing its people
And I looked at my phone
And it didn’t ring
And I didn’t dare ring it back
Yet I did tomorrow or the next day
And no one I used to love answered
Where did they go?
I heard it on the call
A disappearing act
And I said I did it as Jesus said the black frozen man
I gave the award to myself
As the warrior typed
And the new ladies listened
And the prophet rose
At least her shoulders
And she lit it up
Her professional cigarette.
