Shot of Dopamine

​I feel like my inner demons have been suppressed.
I’m not so emotional, not so stressed anymore,
It’s neither deep happiness or pain in my heart, but la de da,
Untouchable.
I’ve been here before wearing this pantsuit driving down the same roads,
Deja Vu.
I don’t laugh so often (in defense of pain),
Laughter was necessary for getting me though my torn kinda life,
I’m not torn these days,
Healing up,
Bloodletting has stopped,
Less feeling and more logic, so let me observe,
Let the internal war in my heart end,
Let my brain thrive,
Let me follow through on the real decision to live
According to what appeals, what is real,
Instead of what is empty or hard.
