My Barren Soul

She spells
Disaster
When the roof of her mouth
Is filled with tongue
Earthquake!
Lo and behold!
Awry!
Spawning stories
Of the liven
And the dead
A purse
Of silver and gold
To ponder
Afoot
Trampled
Sunken
Disarray
Lo and behold!
Jewels of life strewn
All over the place
My barren soul
Misplaced
Finds figure
And place.
