Karma Unfolding
The rose’s thorns wrapped upon my head
And festered holes there
Without blood
A single tear fell from my eye
And arranged itself upon my upper lip
It carried there all day
Dried and crusted
With a layer of salt to cleanse
The animal within myself
Rage left my body
And without the passage of time
I rose ascended
Into another plane of existence
A place of arousal of the mind
My problems began to solve for themselves
My senses awakened
Reality purchased my soul and gave it freedom
So I decided something
To make it
To live a long time
To quiet my temper
To love my dog more than anything else
To treat my mate like gold
And receive whoever it was into my heart
So my lovemaking meant something to him
And the wild spirit of my gut
Would arise to touch the wind
And blow it
In the direction of lovers
Sending rainbows off in the drizzle of the gray sky
To the darkest of places
Where I used to dwell
In my stead
My dark side swayed towards the light again
I spent more time in the sun
I felt better than okay
Epiphany and epiphany pervaded unseen
And logic met my lucid side
My royal blood temperature rose
My legs crossed
I stood up tall
Karma began to unfold
We didn’t have sure justice here either
But the soft kind was braided all over the place.
And festered holes there
Without blood
A single tear fell from my eye
And arranged itself upon my upper lip
It carried there all day
Dried and crusted
With a layer of salt to cleanse
The animal within myself
Rage left my body
