"Just Nothing" on Faith

My cigarette butt reaches you foot
Darkess grins
The daughter of Zion groans
My wife moans at me and I like it so
much I yawn at her as flirting
Pitch dark at bedtime with the curtains drawn
Awful sounds at midnight near a blue light
    pivoting at the crescent moon
Glory at where? What time? What if?
Tell me something to give me rise
When is she going to tell me what's wrong?
Hell is where?
Heaven is around the corner?
Who Sir Mischief is around the bend?
For I see, as far as I can see and no one
else see's it so far except me and
my dogs and my cats and we don't
    feel the weather anymore on
    Elijah's books!
So ask me one more time plainly
"Just nothing".
