Jude

Jude
Moves me

She balances me out

Her circumstances
Are
Not random

The flight of eagles
Appear in
Her path

Her light feet
With a heavy yoke

Suppressed memories
Glance at her
More often

She wanes no more
Only drifting
Into something more real

Jude
Finds me
Attractive like hell

She says I’m handsome David
Of the psalms

So she is new
Akin to Michelle

The olive branch went out from her
Just yesterday
And landed
A mess

It shook her to her core
Evaporating
Her past
Gone
Erased

Jude
Re-birthed
The non-scientific self
Plus secular self

Primarily she led
An army
Without outrage

And then she raged

She gained her serious side back
She postponed living for
Work
And love
And amazement at reality

Jude
A woman now
But I’m also in love with her regular girl side.
