How to Write Poetry
HOW TO WRITE POETRY WITH SPIRIT
To go to that alternative place
Called inspiration
The writer of language
Of character
Radiates, absorbs
In light
Static darkness
Via gut, heart and brain
And touches her nerves by her blood
Letting go
Enough to cough up some words into some pure mama smoke
By realizing the air as well as our skin
Are both molecular by the right lens
Both energy, only one appears as matter.
HOW TO WRITE POETRY BY LAW
Give of yourself, give of the environment freely!
Exercise against conditioning of thought.
How do words sound?
Read poets. Read.
Don’t relate to everything...
Drop canny cushy mushy flowery language and the words sing and dance.
For exercise write unemotionally or in a different archetype and style.
Be multi-lingual or know different styles of the same language.
Find life interesting.
Love.
Hold back something every time.
Mystery vs clarity. Both rate high but confusion doesn’t.
Simple writing should be complex in nature.
Every aspect of Nature has rhythm or frequency. Be a natural poet.
