Dear Ancient One

Dear Ancient One!
   Dear Sacred One!
       Dear Holy One!
Allow me to rise to the occassion
   By my own doing
By the night and the day
As the sun rises and sets and rises again.
Allow the sea tide to roll out as planned
    And nature to flourish
And the animals of this world to thrive.
Thanks be to God!
Give us reason to sing glory and praises
    In Your Name.
Use Your Hands to mold us into
Helpers and doers of good might.
Let Your Will be pure
    And live through mankind [people].
Tame the wicked and divide them by halves
   And multiply the righteous.
Let the seeds of faith be sown by my hand
   As well as Yours.
Give my mind bright thinking.
Don't give up until matter and spirit
    Is good everywhere.
Give me another day so I may wake
    Striving to live well.
Amen.
